Have you been the point of contact for the Shakespeare Contest before?*
Important Information*

For 2024, Pittsburgh Public Theater will hold  Preliminary Rounds IN-PERSON. For those that need to participate remotely, we will do our best to accommodate. A panel of independent judges will review all in-person entries & video submissions, and will determine which students are invited to participate in the Showcase of Finalists on February 26 at 7:00pm.

As the educator lead for your students, you agree to (1) serve as the main point of contact for all student participants at your school in your division, (2) assist in the in-person (or video submission) process and other communication to parents and students, and (3) assist, when needed, on coaching and preparing students for the competition, including help with scene and monologue selection, interpretation, staging, etc.

Will you be able to participate IN-PERSON at the O'Reilly Theater for prelims?
If not, will you be able to enter video submissions?
As we continue to gather and allocate resources to support your students, what aspect of the Shakespeare Contest would you need the MOST assistance?*
